Hopkins Business & Civic Association Community Awards
Annually, the Hopkins Business & Civic Association recognizes the achievements of its membership by awarding the
“HBCA Annual Community Awards”
. Award categories include the HBCA Business of the Year, the HBCA Person of the Year, and the HBCA Civic or Non-Profit Association of the Year Award. Additional recipients may be recognized by the Annual Meeting Award Task Force for special achievements. Your participation in the process is critical! Please take a moment to nominate a deserving HBCA member in any or all of the categories below. Supporting information on the nominee is welcomed. Nominations are due by
January 13, 2012
. Award winners will be announced at the HBCA Annual Luncheon Meeting on Thursday, February 9, 2012.

HBCA Business of the Year Nomination:
Nominees in the HBCA Business of the Year category will be evaluated on the contribution the business (and its employees) has made to the betterment of the community of Hopkins during 2010. Considerations for nominees will include outreach to the community through community service projects, beautification improvements to properties and/or facilities, and business leadership and advocacy on issues impacting all Hopkins businesses.

HBCA Person of the Year Nomination:
The HBCA Person of the Year Award is presented annually to the individual who demonstrates an unselfish commitment to the betterment of the HBCA and the community of Hopkins. Nominees (business persons, civic leaders, or community activists) will promote and encourage successful business practices, civic growth, and community well being in Hopkins.

HBCA Civic or Non-Profit Association of the Year Nomination:
Nominees in the HBCA Civic or Non-Profit Association of the Year category will be evaluated on the organization’s contribution to Hopkins in 2011. Achievements could include the implementation of a new project, program or event benefiting Hopkins, or the growth of an existing project, program or event.
